From watchers of the immensely popular Ted Talks, comes this new lecture series highlighting the life and ideas of your favorite dearly departed celebrities.


In the spirit of All Souls Day, DED Talks will share the knowledge from history’s most inspired thinkers and pretty much anyone else willing to push aside death’s veil and return to share “Ideas Worth Un-Deading.” Enjoy these unexpected and unauthorized re-appearances of the likes of Katherine Hepburn, Don Pardo and Elaine Stritch.

Jay Malsky (Producer/Host) is a New York based sketch comedian and character actor currently performing at UCBT Chelsea on the Maude team Pretty Boys, currently in their second season. His solo show, Jay Malsky Slept With My Boyfriend!, is currently running at UCBT Chelsea. He is a member of the improv team The Community Players (PIT). His drag comedy characters include Celine Dion, Hillary Clinton and Elaine Stritch, which had a sold out run at the 2015 New York Fringe Festival. He misses Whitney Houston every day and prays to Suri Cruise every night "just in case." Everyone has a website but his has personality.


Sammy Hutchison is an actor, character comedian and filmmaker living in NYC. His web series Supercreeps, which he wrote, directed and performed in was produced by Wildseed Studios (UK) and can currently be seen on their online channel. He performs in the improv group DocuProv and writes, directs and performs in the on-going Web-Series of the same name, which has had episodes show on Wildseed TV, PITtv, Funny or Die and currently at UCB's Channel 101. Sammy is his Mom's 2nd favorite filmmaker and 5th favorite actor.


Lauren Ireland is an actor, writer, and filmmaker. As an actor, Lauren's appeared in commercials for Slim Jim, Essie, and Joe's Crab Shack. Lauren recently starred as Keri in the long-standing series 5TAGES in Elite Daily (2016,) Trent in Royally (2017), and Nicky Borenstein's short Trip (2017.) Lauren has written for Elizabeth Arden, Elite Daily, Garlic Jackson Comedy, and Pop Roulette.


Richie Moriarty is an actor, writer, and comedian living in New York City. He can be seen in The Tick (Amazon), Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Adam Ruins Everything, and alongside Michael Caine in the feature film Going in Style. You can watch more of Richie's face here.


Christine Pineiro (MTV, VH1) is an actress, improviser, sketch writer, and character performer from The Bronx. She is a winner of the 2016 & 2015 UCB Diversity Scholarship and has performed for NBC's Diversity Showcase at The Peoples Improv Theater. Christine can be seen improvising at the PIT every Wednesday night at 10 pm with her house team, Monsters. In 2015, she debuted her one-woman character show, Everyone You Work With, at SOLOCOM.
