Playground Presents Day Job/Nightcap

Presented by Caveat

Ever wonder what it's like to be an auctioneer? A funeral director? A neuroscientist? How about what it's like to juggle a full-time profession with a fun-time life in comedy?

Join improv team Playground as they interview one of New York's best comedians to offer an insider's glimpse into their fascinating day job. After a tell-all monologue, Playground creates an original improvised show based off their stories.

If you're feeling brave, drop your name into our coffee pot for the chance to have Playground interview YOU live on stage and create an improvised show based on YOUR job!

This month's guest is BIOLOGIST Jon Foox (Post Doctoral Associate with Mason Lab, Institute for Computational Biomedicine, Weill Cornell Medicine).

Playground is a team of six improvisers: all comedians AND working professionals. We dig into the absurdity of real life by creating improvised scenes dealing with relatable emotion in regular and often ridiculous situations. Playground consists of Benjamin Cohen (Comedian/Screenwriting Instructor), Kate Donat (Comedian/Director of Sales and Marketing), Eric Osterman (Comedian/Chief of Staff), Annie Woller (Comedian/Rental Programs Manager), Jeremy Moulton (Comedian/Project Manager) & Sabrina Cartagena (Comedian/Account Executive).

Playground is directed by Matt Little (host of Science Exclamation Point/Creator of #PizzaRat).
