Raise Your Hand: Astronomy

Presented by Caveat

We're sending the class clowns back to school!

Hosts Matthew Starr (the mathlete who did the homework) and Monique Moses (the student's council treasurer with a flair for the dramatic)  invite the funniest comedians in NYC and one scholarly expert for a show that combines stand-up, lectures, and that “ooo ooo pick me!” feeling.

Doors: 7:00

Show: 7:30

Tickets: $8 in advance, $10 at the door

This Month’s Class: Astronomy

Teacher: Moiya McTier

Moiya McTier grew up in a log cabin in the middle of the woods. Her inability to make decisions earned Moiya a degree in astrophysics and folklore from Harvard, but because reading fantasy novels doesn’t pay the bills, she’s now pursuing a PhD in astronomy at Columbia University. When she’s not doing science or talking about it, Moiya spends her time watching bad TV on Netflix and window shopping for dogs online.

GUESTS:

Nicole Silverberg (Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, Reductress)

Carmen Christopher (At Home with Amy Sedaris, The Chris Gethard Show)

Mary Beth Barone (Mildly Offensive, Viceland)
